A new Pedders Standard Ride Height Complete Suspension Kit for the Hilux Surf 185 & Land Cruiser 90 Series, comes with the pre-assembled Front Struts, a pair of Pedders Gas Rear Shocks and a pair of Pedders rear coils, all in one easy to order kit that's cheaper to buy - One Kit for one truck!

Our kit offers customers as close to the original ride and height as you will get without going Genuine parts - perfect for replacing your old tired suspension and all made from one manufactures matched components. The assembled struts by RoughTrax is just a bonus for yourself or the fitter!

About our Kit:

The pre-assembled front struts are perfect for hassle-free installation - fitters love them as they make life so much easier to install ! They are supplied handed LH & RH with top mounts positioned accordingly ready to bolt in.

Outstanding quality uprated front and rear coil springs manufactured by Pedders and tried and tested in the outback, Modern CNC manufacturing guarantees a constantly high-quality product and a perfect fit in the spring seat. Every coil spring undergoes tests consisting of metallographic investigations, the mechanical material testing and long life tests.

Uprated coil springs help to prevent body roll and also perform under load when towing or carrying heavy loads. Will fit with the existing shock absorber, no modifications are required.

This kit fits on original suspension set up (which was also gas on the front). It does not have the Hard/Soft switch option on this shock but will replace that option if it is fitted.

As with all suspension shocks/coils supplied, paint is not covered under warranty due to the very nature and position of the component.

Always ensure your front wheel alignment and geometry is checked after installation.

Questions & Answers for Pedders Standard Height Suspension Kit with Built Struts

Do I need any other parts to fit these front struts?
Providing all bolts are free, then no, as they simply bolt straight in. As RoughTrax have set the top mount alignment then fitting is made easy. Because they have been pre-built and pre-assembled, the fitting costs will be less as you won't have to pay the labour costs to assemble the struts. Most mechanics will also prefer the fact that they come ready assembled.

Do I need the front wheel alignment checked afterwards?
The simple answer is yes, however, you should have your wheel alignment checked after any major suspension, albeit these are standard ride height components.

What's the ride like once fitted?
The coils and shocks will firm the ride giving extra stability and reducing body roll so whilst there will always be a difference in ride, the shock absorbers are designed to control the spring rate providing a controlled feel to the front suspension.
Personally I love it! handling into roundabouts is so much more positive and responsive!
