A brand new direct replacement premium 2.2kW starter motor, Bosch Style, with the rounded oval nose cone manufactured by Kuhner of Italy for the Hilux Pickup KUN25 & KUN26 between July/2005-October/2010 and comes with a 1-year parts warranty.
This starter motor only fits models with the 2.2kW original rounded oval nose cone and with the separate solenoid attached as pictured.
Important please note:
- There can be several starter options fitted to these models, it's important you choose the correct starter against your original fitment, even with the smaller 2.2kw starters there can be two options but they are very different in design.
- We take every image in-house so what's being advertised will be the product you receive.
- This starter motor only fit's models with the separate round cylinder solenoid, please physically check your starter motor before purchasing as well as viewing the images describing the solenoid location and the oval nose cone on the starter motor.

An easy way to identify if you have a 2.2kW starter fitted is to check the size of the nut holding the main battery lead onto the starter. The 2.2 kW will have a 12mm or 13mm spanner size nut bolting it on.
The larger 2.7kW starter motors (ESTR05) uses a 17mm spanner size terminal nut to bolt it on.
