A set of Front brake pads for the Hilux Surf 185 models and Land Cruiser 90 series as listed and come marked with the R90 approval by leading suppliers Kavo from the Netherlands.
A specific set of pads matched against the original that also come fitted with an anti-squeal plate to the back of the pad.

Quality assurance Guide & R90;

Kavo pads are supplied certified ISO/TS 16949 which guarantees the highest standards of production quality control.
Their pads hold approvals for both ECE Regulation 90 and the German KBA (TUV) standard. Needless to say, many of their braking products exceed these standards to ensure better performance and improved safety.
R90 requires all pads not to deviate from the friction compatibility, brake fade, and speed sensitivity of the original brake pad by more than 15%.
Type-approval to R90 is required for all replacement brake linings sold throughout the European Union and in non-European countries that have adopted ECE Regulations, this is why RoughTrax have taken the decision to ONLY provide our customers with a friction material that meets this standard.
Quite simply R90 Testing has helped stop cheap, poor, and inefficient brake pads flooding the European Market from overseas, safety is absolutely paramount so drive with peace of mind and look for the R90 sign.

About the pad:

Kavo pads will come in a sealed bag in a sealed box.
The back of the pad has an anti-squeal backing plate attached which again shows the R90 marking.
You will notice the pads have wear indicators on them, when the pad wears to its minimum the indicators will scrape against the discs causing a noise indicating to the driver its time to renew. The pads with the wear indicators in the middle always go inboard of the disc.
Friction material thickness 12mm.
Friction material is chamfered either end with central groove to help prevent brake squeal.
One set of pads will fit both front brake calipers.
